150@2015 initiative

The 23 signatories to the Health & Safety Leadership Charter represent the first step towards the Alliance’s 150@2015 goal of having 150 of B.C.’s senior executives sign the Charter by 2015. FIOSA-MIOSA Safety Alliance’s CEO Lisa McGuire says the Charter is an important starting-point for leaders and now we must move forward.

lpc_videoThe Leading Performance campaign has received a lot of attention since the Charter was launched and now we must build towards our mission of “Engaging executives to become corporate leaders where health & safety are valued as critical elements of their businesses.”

“The Charter is a public declaration to our employees, customers and the communities we serve that we value health & safety” said McGuire. “We’re encouraging leaders to add their signatures, demonstrating a commitment to providing a prevention-based workplace culture.”

The first strategy session will be held on February 16 at the Terminal City Club, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. You will receive your framed, signed copy of The Charter at the session.

It will be an informal setting designed to engender the greatest amount of discussion and ‘blue sky’ thinking. Coffee, a light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
